Gas Prices Poem by Ramona Thompson

Gas Prices

Goverment give us a freaking break already, please!
All you're doing is hurting the very people you say care so much about
Seducing our young soliders into your old men's wars and lusty thrist for more oil

Puts more and more of them into too early graves every single damn day
Rasing prices will only raise tempers and the crime rate higher
Insanely pushing every last man, woman and child past their limits
Can you really expect this country to remain peaceful and sedate towards you?
Empty bellies and hungry mouths could soon lead to an all out armagedom, if you're not careful
Sucking us bone dry more and more every day

Tell me Uncle Same
Is it really worth the price you might pay in the end?
