Gasp Of An Overcomer And Its Heirloom Poem by Enchanting Owl

Gasp Of An Overcomer And Its Heirloom

Rating: 5.0

I will put in the box of memories:
My first step to say 'I love you', feeling filled with no difficulties,
My first step to open my eyes in this world innocently,
My first step in letting the tears flow breathlessly.

I will put on the box of arched learnings:
My first experience with the kind of love for which I've been longing,
My first experience accepting God and his holiness,
My first experience asking bold forgiveness.

I will put on the box of sweet success:
My first moment to install on my own foundation and be blessed,
My first moment to celebrate victory and be on guard,
My first moment to earn money and to work hard.

I will put on the box of great triumph:
My first encounter with feeling heartbroken and being with the Hyams,
My first encounter in losing my purpose and direction,
My first encounter with vast discrimination.

At the end of the trail, I'll close this book.
So, I could have a family heirloom and have a nostalgic look.
Once upon a time, I was a mighty conqueror of time.
I've concluded my treasured boxes of a lifetime.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
As we continue to find our purpose, our journey, our reasons, and our faith, we are able to encounter and experience all kinds of situations that will give us learning and strength to become a better version of ourselves. The road may be rough and bumpy, but it helps shape who we are right now as people. The journey of others may be different from ours, but we have personalized pavement that God prepared for us each; just trust the process.
