G-B-I-V-O-R-Y Poem by Denis Martindale

G-B-I-V-O-R-Y

Green fills our gardens, just like the grass.
Blue fills the sky and that's first class.
Indigo, alas, few people would know.
Violet is a flower that we can grow.
Orange is tasty, yet not quite a meal.
Red is for Red Nose Charity Appeal.
Yellow? That's the gold at the rainbow's end!
