Georgia O’keeffe Poem by Fred Babbin

Georgia O’keeffe

Rating: 3.0

Sepals, petals, stamens, pistils,
Male and female
Making seeds

White and red, purple, blue,
yellow, orange, green and black
Flowers, mountains, bones and music
Beauty, beauty, so much beauty.

Moistness, smell, the rush, the hush,
the laugh, the words
of love – of life,
Blood is pumping,
rushing, rushing! ,
Living the eternal now!
