Get Ready To Love Again

Throw down hard heavy cold burden
From tired hands release ugly bundle
Let new love flow free from good heart
Cascade all world over like sprning rain

Empty all pains past from so busy mind
Plant new tree in new place help it thrive
Allow new love incoming grow free and wild
Let its hungry fires glow hot open your eyes

Rid pain punching holes in your stomach
Deposited therein by broken love long lost
Kill past you will need real brute cold force
Shift gears let love new nestle find a home

Keep knees steel still prepare charge forth
Rage-a-roar your tomorrow forward piping hot
Ready self receive real love new virgin gold
Feel raw exhilaration palpable never cold go

Let your good feet in past times immobilised
Carry torch proud to very ends of earth raised
Loving her letting her love back sweetest prize
Arrest pain past fast bury it deep so never rise

Sizzle hot loving her intensely then again
Enjoy ride aboard this crazy runaway love train
Carry heart yours to exotic lands never to return
Your love super sweet she pants thirstily in wait

Broken free at last from long slaving servitude
Old love left empty wound festering raw with pain
Now make clean break with zing rich and zippy zest
Uncorking finder's loud laugh ready sweet love again

Poem of the Day

poet Wilfred Owen

All sounds have been as music to my listening:
Pacific lamentations of slow bells,
The crunch of boots on blue snow rosy-glistening,
Shuffle of autumn leaves; and all farewells:
