Dreaming about those inaccessible stars,
In search of someone like them,
They fall for somebody who leaves a scar!

Deeply hurt they look for Empathy
Looking for the one who can share Sympathy!

Thinking they won't be wrong this time,
They give their all
But destiny can be so rude
To cage them in a stoned wall!

The 1 they chose turns Emotionally Far,
The care & love they deserved is Marred!

They give the necessary care & affection,
Their unconditional love gets no Inspection!

When it’s a guy’s turn he can make her comply,
& on expecting something in return, she is left alone to cry!

It’s a 1 sided relationship the girl herself had started,
When she was in need, the guy was hurriedly Carted!

In an emotional quagmire, she is all bound & perplexed,
Being An emotional Fool,
she can’t lose hold & has to stay best tempered!

On her greatest of sacrifice, she gets no accolade,
But even a tiniest of mistake, dooms her to Face a spade!

Yet so strong, she can forgive all his mistakes,
Still Wondering where does this all disappear?
When she has a need to support her own self,
When in actual it’s needed it takes up a seat in the Rear!

“MEASURE FOR MEASURE” is what she forgets to abide,
Had she shown him this real way out,
Life could have been an easy ride,
What she fails to realize is it’s her caring nature,
Which makes her face the guys ugly complacent snout!

With a constant hope in her thumping heart alive,
She keeps on adjusting, & maintains her thrive!
For how long, she herself doesn’t know,
Years go by in a matter of row!
