Give it up to God
the burden of your load
let Him clean your soul
as you travel on His road.
Rid your self of evil
that holds the heart at bay
come to a new tomorrow
refreshed -a brand new day.
Give it up to God
the sadness and the pain
the guilt and disillusion
in which there is no gain.
Forgive yourself and others
let all sinful ways depart
immerse yourself in truth
of God's family, be a part.
Give it up to God
all things that trouble you
step forward to a new life
and a world you never knew.
