Give Me A Morsel Of Bread. Poem by Savio Antonio Vogt

Give Me A Morsel Of Bread.

I am starved,
and my life is already halved,
my stomach aches,
because of the occasional breaks,
I roam around the city,
which to me, I conside pretty,
but I ask of you, oh! royalty to give me a morsel of bread,
because my body is tired
and I am hungry,
Oh! please give me a morsel of bread, Oh! rich man.
oh! I please beg thee not to close thy gate,
if you do so I will have a horrible fate,
oh! please share some bread with me,
and god will give you the entire rich sea,
If you do so, it will benifit both, for you and me.
oh! please give me a morsel o bread.
