Giving Up Poem by Jessica xalamihua

Not smiling anymore,
my hearts torn apart.
I can't face reality,
I'd rather be in the dark.

Not making people around me happy,
It's killing me to know.
I've let so much slip away from me,
I don't want to let you go.

I tell myself not to think like that,
but instead my dreams have be shattered.
All because of my stupidity,
I've been beaten up and battered.

Maybe it's time to tell you this,
hopefully you understand it's true.
I have given up on everything,
yet I still don't know what to do.
