Glimpses Poem by Damein Taylor

Glimpses

They say that when you die
Your life passes across the sky
Yet i've noticed something
They never mention the one thing
That is prominent in passing on.
The one we have named Death
seems to never be noticed,
But if you catch a glimpse of him
Prepare to feel his cold touch
Although don't expect to see him
For he has already left to take
His other charges to the other side.
