Go Get Some Cheer!

Relax and kick off your lounging shoes
Have a cold drink of freshest juice
Don't think of work it gets you down
Do laugh and smile, act silly, clown
Don't be a grumpy with downward frown
Do things with friends, bake or brown
Be in the sun remember to block
with sunscreen SPF 50 spread and lock
in the moisture, keep cool and dry
Roll in the sand, get wet or fly
to a place, a paradise
The weekend is here
Go get some cheer!

Poem of the Day

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
She came from very far
