Go On, Give Us A Smile! Poem by Denis Martindale

According to the latest news, a blackout's on its way,
Yet not based on a damaged fuse, I had four in one day!

No, this will be a sudden halt, when services close down,
And since some know the guys at fault, no wonder some folks frown.

My telly off, computer stopped, the lights with power gone,
And surfing access also dropped, no emails going on.

No solar panels on my roof, no power from the grid,
But I still smile God gave the Truth in all Lord Jesus did!

This world can't take God's love away though it tries to beguile,
No Amazon, no eBay, yet God still makes me smile!
