GOD LOVES YOU AND I

Up in heaven, there is God
Waiting to call you and I
With his open stretched arms
To catch us when we die

On this earth we do not know
of God and heavens above
So, if we hold the Christian faith
We should be blessed with his love

There are many miracles
That have come to past
We believe they came from God
And that they will always last

Many attend church each Sunday
And some will pass it by
But we should always remember
That God loves you and I.

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
