God’s Horizon Poem by Marilyn Lott

God’s Horizon

You know, the beauty on the horizon
Seems almost too good to be true
It looks planned and slowly sketched
Colors yellow, red, orange and blue

Sunsets are almost mystical
Only God could paint such a picture
For He is so much a part of our lives
For most of us He’s a permanent fixture

He brightens our every day life
Gives us true confidence and grace
That we need on a daily basis
As new problems and trials we face

When we see the morning and night
Of sunsets and sunrises each day
How can we doubt His presence?
It is proof that He’ll show us the way

So when you have doubts about Him
Watch the horizon for sunrise or sunset
And I’ll bet any doubts will pass quickly
From the instant warm feeling you get!
