God's Query Poem by Randy McClave

God's Query

Before I laid out the foundation of earth
I first thought of you,
Even before your parents birth
I already knew what you would do.
I knew the days that you would live on earth
Down to the very last second,
I even planned the people that you would meet
It was I, and not them who beckoned.
I planned the places for you to go
Even the many people that I wanted you to meet,
I decided that you would be my ambassador
And it was also predestined to the people that you did meet.
I laid out your schooling, and your family
I even laid out your neighborhoods and your work places,
Then I gave you enough days for all your good works
That is why I created smiles on people's faces.
I equipped you with all that you would ever need
Never would I leave my child unprepared,
I have a special purpose for you and all my children
My love and faith in all is always bared.
I thenfilled you with my spirit to encourage and lead you
I then gave you my word before my Earthly descent,
Then I gave you companions and people who needed me;
Now, let's us talk about how all things went.
