God Wins Poem by Randy McClave

God Wins

When a man lies or does cheat
When those urges he can't defeat,
Then when because of him the innocent sighs
And then sadly enough humanity cries.
Then the Devil wins.

When a man would rather kill
Than to first to help or to heal,
When others applauds his actions or even laughs
They begin walking down evils path.
Then the Devil wins.

When man does only care to judge
When other doubters he gives a nudge,
Then when he embellishes a story
So, others thoughts and beliefs becomes his toy.
Then the Devil wins.

When a man is a racist
And at other religions and people he shakes his fist,
When he proudly encourages racial fights
Which brings him pleasure and delights.
Then the Devil wins.

When a man takes advantages of others
When those acts becomes his druthers,
And when he really doesn't care who he uses
Or what feelings he ignites and fuses.
Then the Devil wins.

When a man is a liar
So, unto others he can easily set a fire,
And then when drama becomes his only truth
He has truly found Satan's sweet tooth.
Then the Devil wins.

When a man doesn't say a prayer
While at his ceiling he only wants to stare,
When he doesn't care to swear, blasphemy or cuss
When he doesn't ever ask or seek forgiveness.
Then the Devil wins.

When a man sins no more
And he completely changes his core,
When he no longer feels used and defeated
And he treats others the way God wants us to be treated.
Then God wins.
