Purpose and meaning,
preoccupation with progress,
succumbing to acute
intimations of emotional chaos.

In calamitous times
under political oppression,
sanity resides in
the way we shall see,
gives us hopes,
reassures us,
and is asserted by the
Lamb’s true genius
that prevents dissipation to chaos.

“It might be sane now to
live in the light
or at the very least believe
life is worth living, ”
sanity appealed.
