Going Through Stupidity Poem by Abdul Wahab

I go through the stupidity frequently
Among whom I live especially the colleagues
Just the day before they all sit
And consciously passed a bill
From now on we shall not write the number
Of students in excess for our mid day meal
I say you can't do and go like this way
They say we are not doing anything illegal
But really they know not
This resolution becomes the confession
What they did for longer time
This is a crime; and this is a suitable case of felony
But they know not the laws of the land they are living
Upon pointing out their ignorance
And consequent foolishness
They go to deny and go to destroy the evidence
Again without their knowledge
They make themselves entitled to be booked under for destroying documents.

At the beginning time of writing poetry
I showed them some
They read them all very carefully and laughed
And said these are not a poem at all
Then I went to play a trick
I copied some renowned Bengali poets whom they revered as guru
And handed them out to read those again
The reaction was the same
These could be rhymes or anything but very short of to become a poem
Exposing and showing their nursery of pea size knowledge.
My trick fully worked out
And I become successful to pass through the huge mass of stupidity
