Never did I ask you for a thing made of gold
Nor I honestly care for them
But I certainly care for the Goldness of Gold
For which awfully hungry I am
Happiness can never reside in the gold
Neither can it harbor any pain
But selfish ego somehow creeps in my heart
When gold stuffs are drawn in
So, I crave most for your Goldness of Gold
That I wish to treasure in my heart
By holding it close with my tainted mind
Till mind becomes stainless at last
Also having the goldness in my possession
I will offer it free to others
So, happiness can reign in the heart of all
And my peace may belong to others

You are very philosophical and I can sense this poem is full of Vedanta. Thanks for sharing.
