Gone With Wind Poem by Alone Soul

Gone With Wind

The third wind blows
right past my eyes
there's no escape
nor can I hide

crumbling earth
and falling skies
can't run away
now where go I

the shooting light
in the distance
keeps moving away

Once I was
as strong as you
but now he's dismayed

Now the sun's gone
as he hides his face
darkness lurks
on helpless preys

time stands still
and waits for him
counting on
his numbered days

Alone I've been
fighting now
and alone I may creep

he's weakened now
and he's lost his will
god please set me free

And I walk along
this dead of night
even the moon shys
to resurrect the light

I weep alone
to ease my pain
but there's noone left
to hear my cries

this tired man
wants no life now
but how could it be

Hold my breathe
and rest my head
and now I shall leave
