I knew I wanted to say something about my Mother to all her Relatives and friends.
I hoped words of wisdom would flow from my mind. Words that every one would remember.
But in the end it was not my words that were important, it was about the Lady we have come here this day to say good bye to.
But before we say our farewells I would like to tell you something about my Mother.
My Mother was proud. My mother was Strong. My Mother loved me even when I was wrong.
I ask you now not to be sad, that my Mother has died..But to celebrate that my Mother lived.
To rejoice in the memories we each have,
To hold her memory in your heart and think of her often saying three words to her I love You..

I leave you now with this vision in your mind….. a stormy sky. Thunder crashing in your ears.. lighting flashing across the dark sky..

and My Mother Alicia ridding on a winged Horse. The wind in her hair and a smile on her face…. And now I say to her ………. Fear well my mother I LOVE YOU. We to celebrate your life….
