Good for You

Ariel I got good grades
'Ok then, Good for you'
Ariel, my boyfriends good to me
'Ok then, Good for you'
Ariel, I'm about to graduate
'Alright, Good for you'
'You're doing good in life and school
you brag about the things you do
It'll be funny if you graduate
but can't afford to
so you celebrate
a little late
and you're not included in the graduation rate
and I know you love your boyfriend
but your relationship's real boring
and I hope that he gets you pregnant
then leaves
because you brag about all of these good things
to me
above it all
I've built a wall
of bricks
to shadow secrets
of past events
occurences
of rape, and abuse
just constant hell
opposed to you
and slowly
see
my jealousy will creep
until I bring you down with me
I'm failing class
plus
my ex just passed
because his suicide attempts
really worked finally'
I begin crying
but yet she laughs
and says
'Oh well
look at the brightside,
all is good for me! ! '
