Good Night Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Good Night

The night came along with the moon.
Looming a beautiful dream.
Slipping into pajamas warm, and snug.
Soon to be tucked in awaiting
A dream of you.
Its silence is deep
Lulled sweetly, savoring the taste of your voice.
The night grows in depth
Carrying the sound of your voice.
A calm peaceful hush that makes sleep
So much easier.
Hearing the sound of your voice.
Before drifting sound asleep
Granting me the sweetest dream
Good Night
