I loved you so much and I probably still do
But this thing has dragged on long enough
To continue is unfair on both me and you
I trust your judgement even though it is tough

For if he is everything you could hope for
Then your complete heart he deserves
And let my heart fly away and soar
For submerged in pain no use it serves

May your love be true and thus last forever
May that fire which burns within your eyes
That special connection never sever
And hearts entwined, reach the skies

The pain which washes over me, never ending
Let it not be something for you to worry
For that is not the purpose of this sending
And for any pain it causes, I’m sorry

I hope that your life is like a field of flowers
In constant bloom, mile after mile
If we may cross paths again in this small world of ours
Let me find you happy and safe, with a smile
