Goodbye's Always Hurt Poem by Ray Hansell

Goodbye's Always Hurt

I had a dream about her
Just the other day
I took her to the train depot
So she could go away

A smile grew wide across her face
As she boarded that train
Leaving me at the station
With a heart broken in pain

Funny thing about it
She's been gone for years
But every time I recall that day
My memories are accompanied by tears
