Goodbyes Here In My Eyes Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Goodbyes Here In My Eyes

Now you gaze and see
Goodbyes here in my eyes
In tears this Sadness flees
When Love departs and dies

Ribboned hearts are now released
From ties and graying promises
For other loves have come and pleased
To cut through bonds with bleak excuses.

And now I shall then set you free
My eyes no longer hold its hopes
My heart lets go, unties Reality
At last untied, where vague Love gropes.
