Can’t you see all that I have done for you?
The countless tears I have cried.
I have given all I have
There is nothing left inside
I stood for hours in the cold rain
Just to see you, didn’t you hear me call your name?
You looked straight at me
But I knew you could not see me
I heard you on the radio
Talking about your life
You home your family
And even about your wife
With a flash of light, and a brief searing pain
My life is short, my desire is strong
I know you loved me once,
What did I do that was so wrong?
As my life spills out on the floor
I hear your voice on the radio once more
…goodnight Boston I love each and everyone of you
I fade away for evermore

Jim, I enjoyed this very much, but did wonder if Boston was the city or someone named Boston? I think, either way, it is very well done, and the sentiment is the same either way! Will check out some of your other work soon. Scarlett
Well done Jim Milks. The tragedy is designed with such a striking way, with special words and rhyme. Thanks (to you and to Boston) for sharing. Joseph Josephides Member of the International Society of Poets (ISP) Intern.Library of Poetry awarded

Jim, I am not quite sure who you were speaking to, but its is certainly well written. By the way, Boston is one of my favorite cities. Regards Ron
