Got It Bad Poem by Gabriella Franco

Got It Bad

Laughing again. she wants to go deeper
But she doesn't think he knows how
She tries him. 'Step one to be a player:
Say it if you dont mean it, but if you do, say it now'

'I'm no player' he says, with tones confused
'Darling, ' she says, 'I know i can't be the only
That doesn't happen' She feels used
'Please' and she repeats'it just doesnt happen to me'

He wants to help her understand, that he doesnt
Know what she means, he wants to help. He can't.
'But you are, I'm not perfect but I'm no player'
'See? it's okay, i'm fine' She knows he doesn't love her

She doesn't want him to. She doesn't love him.
But lately she's been craving his attention.
He's sort of hurt, she kissed his best friend
But there's no relationship, there's no 'them'

They don't love eachother, They're 'no drama' kids
But how do you explain feelings so mixed
They don't want drama, or any strong feelings
They know those cause pain and jealousy

So she says, 'I believe you, I know you're no player
But I'm not the only one' how can he convince her?
He ended that think with whats-her-name, ended it fast
There was no drama in his country, he wants to go back

Highschool. Relationships. Pain. They never talk about this
They jus laugh and joke, hold hands and kiss
They don't want an 'us' but they don't want it to end
They don't want drama, they just want to be friends

But they're tied, kind of chained, they think about 'them'
She makes him smile, he always makes her laugh
Neither of them want to go through heartbreak again
But litle do they know, they've both 'got it bad'
