GOT YOUR HEART...................

The sky seems so bright today
Why I float on the breeze today
People who never had a ray
Why are they laughing today?

Why the leaves dance with joy
I can hear what the flowers say
Did I change my route today?
Is it they who changed their way

Why things are so bright today
Why I smile all the day
Do you know what they say?
That I got your heart today

An excellent little poem centered on a single emotion. But the extension of internal joy to nature and objects around is done very well - without any artificiality or pretences. It makes the poem simple and beautiful. (Report) Reply

Three times I had the lust to kill,
To clutch a throat so young and fair,
And squeeze with all my might until
No breath of being lingered there.
Three times I drove the demon out,
