my hands are in the earth,
warm n rich,
the earths milk,
staining my skin,

my thoughts are on you,
rising n setting sun,
waiting for night to fall,
so I can find you n my arms

where I now belong,
n i kneel to the goddess,
bending to hear her whispers across
the weeds of time,

while your eyes whisper
love across my mind,
n we are timeless,
grains of sand floating
across the winds,
together
apart
always
