You said goodbye to early,
you had to leave so soon,
I said goodbye but you didn't hear me,
The next time I saw you I cried with disbelief.

I couldn't believe it was you,
I couldn't believe it was true,
You fought a long tough fight,
But defeat was upon you.

You couldn't hold on much longer,
But you fought it through the end.
Eventually you had to go,
and we all knew it to.

It was raining the night we lost you,
I guess the angels in heaven were crying too,
cause they knew we were really going to miss you,
and they were right,
we do miss you.

But now your better,
and there's no more fights to fight,
so watch over us please,
and try to protect us when ever you can.

Just know this,
You're always in our hearts,
You're always in our prayers,
and when a secret tear falls,
we know you'll be there.

Cause you were there then,
and I know you're with us now,
so goodbye i say with a tear in my eye,
a smile on my face of all the memories we had,
and of all the memories we had,
I promise to never forget you.
