Greatest disaster
Thursday,29th August 2019

Helplessly watching the natural fury
what to say except feel sorry
for all those millions who are rendered
homeless and have wondered

what the Rain God intends to do?
and make us to pass through
the greatest disaster of the time
for the known commitment of the crime

is it our doing? no one is answering
never in the known history
such a plight is witnessed is daily
rivers are in spate and mountains giving away

did we ask for punishment?
it is million rupee question at present
we are burning forests, digging mountains
river bed is deplete and air has toxins

now we have water in excess
but it may turn scarce
drought may bethe next scene
as enough damage has been done

nature is for us
so keep balance and trust
if nature doesn't exist
we shall turn extinct
