Guard Poem by Christopher Tye

Guard

Guard

Guardsmen at Buckingham Palace,
Unnamed soldiers still guarding where they fell,
Air National Guard patrolling the skies,
Railway guards keeping trains safe and fares paid,
Different guards doing different jobs but the same role.
