Guilt Trip Poem by Lelene Michel

Guilt Trip

Consequences for all actions that prevails thru the notion of hurt
and pain:
I have offended many and pleased almost none.
How do I begin to summarize the guilt within?
Tellurian by appearance,
mystical evil in reality
the monster labeled guilt begins to devour the soul.
I have to ruminate the bite guilt has over my thoughts,
bits and bits of pieces slip into the mouth of this dragon
as your soul told you to run, you remained in the same spot.
Without an answer the wretched one paces into the shadows,
I have resigned to the dark destiny of nothingness
