Haiku 2
Flying kingfisher
My soul is a stagnant pond
My heart is stolen
In a stagnant pond, there will be no fish, no live forms! There are no ripples of movement..... It is in a state of utter sterility. The king fisher flying over a stagnant pond will never have the fortune of sighting a fish. This utter vacuity is powerfully projected by three symbols in three lines..... a stagnant pond, a kingfisher flying over it and a heart stolen. Great Haiku!
I like this Haiku very much. I, too, like to see how much meaning can be conveyed in only a few words.
