POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Recently, I took my kids to zoo and saw some ground squirrels working together to warn each other of the approaching danger with a whistling call. I found it amazing for two reasons, first they were fighting tooth and nail to grab the nuts however, when one of the squirrels' saw the potential danger, it warned others to flee the scene and once danger is gone again they were competing to grab the best of the nuts. Second, they all believed and followed the caller's call, no foul play like humans..
