Hands- Up Rights And Refugees Poem by Udaya R. Tennakoon

Hands- Up Rights And Refugees

Welcome is a space
To re-plant
The fragile identity

Hosting is a gift
to see the light of
love and honesty

Grant is in return
is a debt of empathy
To bear and share
To the vacuum of humanity

For a such man or woman
who has a hands up sign of right
is a duty to extend the dignity
and to pay back for future
