Even the my life's
Been turned upside down
All I need to smile
Is just to look around

To see the world beside me
As perfect as it can be
And so it this longing
A longing to be happy
But I'm content left standing

I put out my hand
And I dont understand
What is that I am
Surely not a normal man
But they should not demand

There's a barrier between
The world I'm reaching for
A curse that lies unseen
Closing all the doors

But through windows I can scry
All of the joy that flies
