I have realized that
I do not need you
to be happy
I can be happy
without you in my life
It's just that the
happiness I feel
is tainted
colored with a faint
feeling of sadness
and longing
Like my heart remembers
the abscense my
mind wants to forget
so my happiness cannot
be complete
