Happy Holi! Happy Spring! Poem by Hebert Logerie

The wintry month of February is gone
And everybody is finally very happy
In the air, we can feel the new season
We can feel the new harvest of glee
And the new wave of happiness and mirth
Holy cow! We're living a new time, a new birth.

Happy Holi! The sun is brighter than ever
Across the huge lake, we can see a flock of geese
Where two large swans are crisscrossing the river
This is spectacular! We're enjoying a cool breeze
Coming from the North. This is really wonderful
The sky is awesome, beautiful and divinely colorful.

Happy Spring! Let's put the gulal on each other's face
Happy Holidays! Let's rejoice, flowers are everywhere
The rush is on. The entire world ought to be a party place
Not a concentration camp of misery, hunger, and dolor
It is a festival of flowers, a carnival of good over evil
It's a festival of colours. It's indeed a divine spectacle.

Happy Holi! Happy Spring! Happy holidays to everyone!
Holy moley! Let's all enjoy the new day, the new season!
