Happy Valentine's Day, My Dear



I have denied my pursuit,
To secure elusive love.
With a wish for it to have it known,
By someone who would come...
And to me have it shown.

And each year as Valentine's Day,
Approaches near to make it clear...
Whoever it is but is reluctant to appear,
I only have one desire to whisper in their ear...
'Happy Valentine's Day, My Dear.'
