Harvest Moon Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Harvest Moon

Rating: 5.0

October moon glows from on high
And I see a few little stars in the sky.
The gift of romance is in the night air
Yet love falls apart if you're not there.

An Indian Summer brings joy to me
But happiness disappears with no melody.
With no song of love, the teardrops start
Misery lingers within the heart.

So late summer moon shine on ~ shine on!
Dark clouds gather without your song,
But Autumnal romance will ever be
When that August moon plays her rhapsody.
