Hatred Is So-Called Love Poem by Aiden Florence

Hatred Is So-Called Love

Rating: 5.0

Come on let’s start
Be my love
And I’ll break you apart
Unless you break me first

This is an endless cycle of distress
You’d end in pain one way or another
Trying so hard not to feel hopeless
Not like it would ever matter

It’s so hard contemplating
What you do at night when I’m not around
But do you ever wonder
What I’ll be doing when you leave me behind

How would you feel when I’m dead
Will you cry?
I would.
For the first time in my life
I’d be crying
So happily knowing I’m free now

What did you think we were doing all this time?
Love?

This is a game
Only the strong will survive
