Haunting Promises Poem by Marie ...

Haunting Promises

her name was cold an haunting
her heart just stone and cold
she said life isnt worth living
for the soul that she had sold

her eyes were dark like moon light
her hair messy and sad
she said people though she was crazy
i didn't thing she was mad

the teacher that she trusted
at the school where she goes
she told me that she's moving
away from all those lows

she promised me she'd never
commit the perfect suicide
her life floated like a feather
her promises she must abide

i told her i was here
i told her that i cared
she knew my life was dear
so was the truth that we shared

she knew that i missed him
because of the week alone
mising the convosation
between us on the phone

now i say goodbye
but my promise i will keep
live the awfull lies
and the tears that may seap
