We met a man…and Englishman…
who, when we were greeted him had this to say…
He smiled, tipped his hat then said…"Have a lovely day".

It was a lovely sentiment…
which loses a little something on this page where only the words appear
because it was spoken in that wonderful English accent
I'm sorry you weren't there to hear…

But if you read these words in your best English accent…
Let me offer this English blessing to you…
