Have Relationship With Deeds Poem by Dinyar Bharucha

Have Relationship With Deeds

HAVE RELATIONSHIP WITH DEEDS
We came in this lovely world with empty hands,
We shall go to spiritual world with empty hands.
The relationship comes to sudden end at death,
You leave your loved ones with your last breath.

You cannot take anything where you are going,
Except all the deeds that you have been doing.
Love and compassion is better than being right,
Live a righteous life, turning despair into delight.

A good deed a day brings happiness all the way,
You were born to do something good, they say.
Do good and it will come all the way with you,
This statement is understood well by very few.

Live well to create a life that feels good inside,
But not the one that looks good on the outside.
Practice compassion for the eternal happiness,
Expecting mercy, then ever show forgiveness.

A beautiful deed dies when it is spoken about,
Doing a good deed there is no need to shout.
When anger rises think of the consequences,
Breathe deeply, and think of all the penalties.

Patience attracts joy; it brings near that is far,
Smallest deed is better than intention by par.
Small deeds done are greater than big plans,
All deeds accompany you where nothing can.
