Have We The Right Poem by Francis Duggan

Have We The Right

Have we the right for to judge other people as many do in their negative way
Those who do live without harming others as people they should be seen as okay
Big Brother has far too many disciples and sad to think that their type are not rare
In their sick minds with those they do see as inferior themselves they always do like to compare
And yet the Reaper proves us all as equals the lives of the Presidents or Monarchs he does not spare
The one who claims the life's breath from the pauper also claims the life's breath from the billionaire
To any good person be they poor or wealthy respect the only thing I have to pay
They make the Human World a better place to live in by trying to live in a good and honest way
But too many are into people comparing the judgemental of our Human World of today
They uphold rank, class and social division the people who create us against they
But only since those who do live good and honest only encouragement and credit are due
The Human World would be better without the judgemental I only say here what is obviously true
So let us drink a toast to every good person to every good woman and to every good man
And may lady luck treat them very kindly and may they enjoy a long and healthy life span.
