Haven Brook Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Haven Brook

Haven brook

Imagine sitting by a brook
-choosing it as haven
-from berries your canon
-and viewing the bay
-with scars of the dale
-while sitting on stone
- (sparrow's)
-observing a raven
-crying for ravine
-gone brown

Imagine the above
-being shades in brain;
-origins and tepees
-all are burned,
-and trashed! ! !

Imagine the changes
-that bring the cities
-buildings and streets
-restaurants for dining
-flavours as the food
-no real produce
-even the flour

Everything processed
-additives to smell,

Imagine the true-virtual
-which is which, what is what?
-where are the crickets and frogs
-what about the sharks and crocodiles
-groundhog, and raccoons and skunks
-which soon join the mass of dead and ill-
-behaved and selfish and egoist…

Like to sit with my back
-to the sun of the dusk
-a mirror in front
-paint canvas with brush
-recording death of time…
