He Is Poem by Randy McClave

He Is

He is my number one fan
Unto him I want to be seen like Superman,
He is more important than my work
He is my greatest perk.
Unto him I fulfill all promises ever made
For him I have constantly prayed,
I want him to do well in his life
I won't him to hold no worries or sadness or strife.
I want to make sure his heart is taken care of
He I will always think about and love,
It breaks my heart when I couldn't buy him that special thing
When joy to him I know to him it would bring.
I want him to make all of his choices well
Not the mistakes or errors I made I did tell,
I made him braver than I thought he could ever be
And that was all because of me.
I would give him the whole world if I only could
As he is my world as he stood,
I would loan him the very last dollar that I had
Because, paying me back he would not make me sad.
I thrust him more than anyone I know
Into a man I enjoyed watching him grow,
Unto the world and unto him my beliefs I'll shout loud
He makes me joyful and proud.
Without him I believe that I am nothing
He feels my emptiness and void with something,
He gives me the reason, why I have fought and have won
He of course is my son.
