He's My Brother, He Ain't Heavy Poem by Ray James

He's My Brother, He Ain't Heavy

I am an old man but I am nobodies fool.

I take a look at History and reveal the truth.

Deep down inside this world is a war to be won.

A catastrophe flood would happen that would be nobodies fool.

God instructs Noah to be ready and show no pity.

Chorus: Noah says:I am nobodies Fool I listen to the Lord at hand and pray.

Just because I am a Maverick I am nobodies fool.

You see in the days of Noah a lot of preaching was being done.

And nobody would listen to the Lords plan that wasn't cool.

Chorus: Noah says:I am nobodies Fool I listen to the Lord at hand and pray.

God instructed Noah what would happen to the people in the lands if they wouldn't stop corruption, and violence they would be annihilated.

Noah, knew what really opens the doors of Heaven and was given specific plans of a new creation.

And he was instructed by the Lord that a real cleansing of the world is about to take place.

Because the people would not listen in the days of Noah.

Chorus: Noah says: I am nobodies Fool I listen to the Lord at hand and pray.

You better build a Ark and take your family with you is the ultimate plan.

Well I have been accused of making my own rules and there.

Must be rebel blood running through my veins.

But what you see is what you get.

Chorus: Noah says: I am nobodies Fool I listen to the Lord at hand and prayed.

Old Noah took much ridicule for building his great Ark.

But after 40 days and 40 nights he was looking pretty smart.

Sometimes It's best to brave the wind and rain and have the strength to go against the Grain.

Because there is more folks than a few who share my point of view.

Chorus: So listen to the Lord at hand and pray. He's my brother he ain't heavy.

So the people who wouldn't changed their wicked ways and wouldn't follow Noah and the Ark of covenant of the days.

Lost their pride, joy and life in their wicked ways.

Sometimes you got to go against the wicked and the grain.

Nothing ventured is nothing gained.

Chorus: So listen to the Lord at hand and pray. He's my brother he ain't heavy.

So find the time to fellowship, make plans and pray.

Because like in the Days of Noah and John Wayne it is your time that it is at hand.

Use the tools of the Lord and build a plan that works.

Go busting out like John Wayne fulfill your destiny in life

Chorus: So listen to the Lord at hand and pray. He's my brother he ain't heavy…

So nothing ventured is nothing gained.

So nothing ventured is nothing gained.

Use the tools of the Lord and build a plan that works.

Go busting out like John Wayne fulfill your destiny in life

Tag: So listen to the lord and always pray. He's my brother he ain't heavy…
